Article on Dr. Margarita Cedeño de Fernández , the First Lady of the Dominican Republic, and member of the Honorary Committee of the International Conference of Communication and Education, who has expressed willingness to participate and inaugurate the Congress on 11 May at the Autonomous University of Barcelona.
Dr. Cedeño coordinates a major project in the Dominican Republic, which aims to promote digital literacy throughout the country and that has already allowed the creation of CTC (Community Technology Centers) in many urban and rural areas.
