European Association for Viewers Interests (EAVI) is an independent, not-for-profit international civil society organisation registered in Brussels as an AISBL – Association International Sans But Lucratif.
The mission of EAVI is to serve public interest in the fields of media. Its primary aim is to represent and advance the interests of European media users and citizens in general.
EAVI’s project “European Media Literacy and Education Study”, EUMEDUS, has secured funding under the European Commission’s Lifelong Learning Programme.
The ultimate objective of the study is to contribute to the development of national educational policies aimed at promoting lifelong learning media education. Partners include: Universidad Autónoma de Barcelona, Spain; Minho University, Portugal; Institute for Educational Research and Development, Hungary; Instituto di Studi Politici, Economici e Sociali, Italy; School of Communication and Media, Slovakia; Pedagogical University of Krakow, Poland.
