SPOR MEDIA is involved in a wide range of media activities which promote inter-cultural understanding between the North and the South. Through film, educational materials, web sites, etc. SPOR MEDIA brings into focus the cultural diversity and the human potential of the South, among other things to counter the images of misery and hostility to foreigners.
SPOR MEDIA produces documentary films from e.g. Latin America og Africa: about returning to Chile, from where one’s parents fled, about the clash between modernity and tradition in Zimbabwe and about the problems involved in being an agent of change in a Senegalese village. SPOR MEDIA is also involved in other production activities than those based on South themes: our attitudes to death, hearing disability – and reconciliation in Bosnia.
