The article describes how strict censorship on some internet web pages in some countries are controlling the Internet and also government propaganda. Internet censorship in countries, such as China or Russia, is evolving in ways that lead it to be utilized as pro-government, nationalist patriotism.

The News Literacy Project is an American innovative national program that is mobilizing journalists to help middle school and high school students sort fact from fiction in the digital age. The project is creating partnerships between active and retired journalists and social studies, history and English teachers as well as after-school media clubs.
