World leaders are meeting in Dubai this week for the World Conference on International Telecommunications (WCIT). The conference discussed about the International Telecommunications Regulations led by the U.S. government and its expansion among developing countries. The conference came out one message: It’s time for members of civil society, industry, and government to commit to working toward a better, more inclusive multistakeholder process that not only protects the Internet as we know it now, but encourages growth and innovation going forward.
