Teen Voices

The mission of Teen Voices is to support and educate teen girls to amplify their voices and create social change through media. By teaching media literacy skills and presenting alternative viewpoints, we encourage girls to deconstruct mainstream images and direct their criticism at the media rather than at themselves for not living up to the idealized standards.With over 19 years of publication and 54 print issues, Teen Voices magazine reaches 45,000 people in 14 countries. It is a four-color, glossy magazine by, for, and about teen girls. Teen Voices Online, our award-winning website, is updated monthly and receives 88,000 annual visitors from 177 countries.
