A resource from the International Center for Media and the Public Agenda at the University of Maryland, on how to teach journalism students how to cover violence, victims and trauma.
The resource explains what teachers at the journalism schools teach today, and the reasons for why they do not teach how to cover trauma and violence, despite the fact that the majority of the teachers agree that it is important for journalism programs.
