Significant amounts of pro-U.S. and episodic media frames were also present in the coverage. The episodic frames minimize the viewer’s feelings of obligation or social responsibility to consider and discuss the elements of war the pro-U.S. frames are not showing. The presence of the reality frames support claims that the war was presented to viewers as entertainment.
