徽派建筑是中国古建筑最重要的流派之一。作品通过对古民居、古祠堂和古牌坊三个代表性建筑的由外及里、由浅入深的解读,彰显了和谐流畅、敦本敬祖、传显荣光的深厚徽韵。在此基础上,对徽派建筑从能指到所指层面的视觉化表征,进一步深化了其内涵和意义,实现了“由器而道”的升华。

徽山水将“山依水而活,水得山而秀”的优美景观体现地淋漓尽致。作品对黄山、九华山、天柱山和琅琊山四大山水典范进行了多角度地解读,充分展现了其“动中有静,静中有动”的意蕴,另外,作品采用呈现图片的方式,对黄山精神、佛教文化等一系列抽象概念做了具象解构,使得“形而上”的深刻内涵变得浅显易懂的同时,又让读者体会到徽山水的多姿多彩、钟灵毓秀。
