This volume was designed to showcase the work of emerging scholars in media education. The articles, edited by Kathleen Tyner of the University of Texas at Austin, cover a wide range of media education topics in formal and informal learning environments. Studies include chapters about international community media efforts in India, youth media programs in the US, video in the Language Arts classroom, computer integration, video gaming and elementary and secondary media education from practitioners in the field.
