Insafe, the European network of e-safety awareness nodes, is launching a back 2 school campaign on 8 September 2009. It is aimed at raising awareness of media literacy issues in the classroom by providing teachers with some quick and easy lessons that they can implement.
The lesson plan and accompanying resources seek to address the issues of trust, validity and bias in websites and will attempt to make children and young people more discerning when it comes to web content. Further details and the pack can be downloaded from http://saferinternet.org/back2school/
