Under a three-year grant from the U.S. Department of Education and National Endowment for the Arts, the Media Literacy and Health Project (MLH) helps Boston Public Schools (BPS) teachers, working alone and in teams, to engage high school and middle school students in authentic or project-based learning in media literacy. Students use research, creativity, and teamwork to analyze media and produce videos, web
publishing, visual arts, and other media around critical issues such as violence, substance abuse, and disrespect.
