The challenges facing educators today in Ontario and elsewhere are many. Designing programs and curriculum to prepare our students for the challenges of the next century is not an easy task. Examining new communications technologies, the social and economic changes resulting from globalization, and the media representations of our neighbors in the global village are just a few of the areas that many educators believe should be addressed in Ontario schools.
