Speakers include Alison Preston (Head of Media Literacy Research, Ofcom, UK), Margaret Boribon (European Newspaper Publishers’ Association), Emmanuelle Machet (European Platform of Regulatory Authorities) and Nathalie Labourdette (European Broadcasting Union);
– Workshop on “Media literacy in practice” with Stéphane Hoebeke (RTBF), Jennifer Fleming (California State University, USA), and María Gatón Fraile (ICmedianet, Spain);
– Workshop on “European and global actions to support media literacy, strengthen diversity and fight radicalisation”, with Jordi Torrent (United Nations Alliance of Civilisations), Shahin Abbasov (Council of Europe) and Claire Morvan (European Schoolnet & eTwinning).
– Propaganda, Lies & Videotape: What can schools do to combat radicalisation amongst students? – Roundtable.
