Doha Centre for Media Freedom organized a series of training courses on media education and information for teachers, school coordinators and members of civil society organizations.
Workshops that took place from 24th November 2013 till 1st December 2013 trained almost 150 teachers in Qatar for the 2013-2014 academic year.
The aim of the courses was to provide teachers, methodology and tools for teaching media education for students. Goals were aimed at how to get students to develop media skills, train them on the basics of media work, how to edit the news and production, and to understand the techniques of journalism and other means.
