The One Million African Stories (OMAS) is a Zambia-based youth support organisation which equips young Africans in photography and short film-making skills in order to build community confidence and effect change among youth and poor communities. The OMAS documentation and outreach programme facilitates youth led image based discussion platforms that engages communities to challenge their circumstances and change negative perceptions and attitudes that keep them poor. Thus, OMAS platforms hope to identify with poor communities how they can effectively fight their own poverty.
