Country: Spain

Against Media Illiteracy! is the name of the campaign La Xarxa started to deal with the promotion of Media Education in Spain.

This year’s meeting of La Xarxa explored publicity and how advertising penetrates the daily life of children and young adults. Media is not only a form of entertainment, it is found throughout a child’s environment. As a result, media has the ability to modify their perception of reality and their own lives, sometimes negatively affecting their self-esteem and health. Against Media Illiteracy! undertakes media education programs and promotion.
