Common Sense Media is a national organization led by concerned parents and individuals with experience in child advocacy, public policy, education, media, and entertainment. Common Sense Media is dedicated to improving the media and entertainment lives of kids and families. It recognizes that media and entertainment profoundly impact the social, emotional, and physical development of our nation’s children. As a non-partisan, not-for-profit organization, it provides information and tools as well as an independent forum so that families can have a choice and a voice about the media they consume.
Its staff, Boards of Directors, and Advisers represent leading research, academic, and policy institutions as well as the business community. Common Sense Media members have a broad range of views and backgrounds, but they all share a passion for media and for kids.
