The BFI (British Film Institute) promotes understanding and appreciation of Britain’s rich film and television heritage and culture.
Established in 1933, the BFI runs a range of activities and services such as festivals, film releases, and education. In addition, the BFI archives cinemas, festivals, films, publications and learning resources for the promotion of understanding and appreciation of Britain’s rich film and television heritage and culture.
The BFI sponsors a number of educational projects to promote Press & Media literacy. It produces a range of resources and training packs for teachers and hosts conferences, seminars and workshops for learners of all ages.
