The Bay Area Video Coalition’s (BAVC) Next Generation Programs currently serve 500 unique youth artists who represent nearly 50 public middle and high schools in the Bay Area. BAVC artists do everything from making music, directing videos, and putting together websites. Their programs provide for the creative youth artist’s need to keep juices flowing and the production levels high. Their programs emphasize creative and socially relevant storytelling, high production quality, innovative distribution, and real-world applications of digital media skills.
Check out all of programs including Bump for music, The Factory for video production and Digital Pathways to web and video. Their website has music to download, original videos to watch, and examples of student produced work.
