The two major objectives of the ACMA’s Digital Media Literacy Research program are to: Assess the evidence base for digital media literacy—including levels of access and use of digital media, and the drivers and barriers of digital media literacy in the Australian population. This includes identifying specific needs some groups might have – older Australians, lower income households, NESBs
And connect with existing players and programs in Australia—to identify possible gaps in the promotion of digital media literacy and how these might be addressed.
