Multistakeholder WSIS+10 Review Event: “Towards Knowledge Societies for Peace and Sustainable Development”
Marking the 10th anniversary of the adoption of the Plan of Action of the World Summit on the Information Society, UNESCO, in cooperation with ITU, UNDP and UNCTAD, hosts in 2013 the first WSIS+10 Review meeting, in which world leaders, along with high-level participants from governments, the private sector, NGOs and other groups, to assess progress made and future ICT trends, which will impact all spheres of societies. It is also envisaged that the Conference will result in post-2015 recommendations.

Au fil de la semaine, les enfants inventent une histoire, dessinent un story-board, fabriquent les décors et les personnages qu’ils ont imaginé. Ensuite se met en place le tournage, image après image, l’enregistrement des dialogues et la réalisation de la bande son. Tous les participants se retrouveront un mois plus tard pour présenter leur film au cinéma, et recevoir le dvd de leur réalisation.

'Bob the Bunny's competition' is aimed at young adventurers aged between 10 to 12 years old (at the competition opening - July 1st 2012). To enter, you form a team of 1 to 3 members, identify a local environmental issue and create an A4 cartoon strip illustrating the issue and actions that you might take to solve it. The submissions should be sent before the competition deadline of 24:00 CET on February 28th 2013.

Freeze Frame, the International Film Festival for Kids of All Ages was created to provide young people in Manitoba access to quality films and videos from around the world. Freeze Frame selects films and videos that will entertain and challenge children and youth by exploring situations and issues not normally explored in mainstream media. While most countries produce quality movies and television programs for youth, these productions are rarely seen by the general public.
