UNESCO has been working for over 40 years in the field of media and information literacy (MIL). Part of its strategy involves creating partnerships necessary to amplify the impact of MIL. THE YOUNGEST FILM FESTIVAL OF TURKEY – TISFEST
TISFEST is a film festival with a wide program and a short film contest for TEEN filmmakers. There are no restrictions of theme or subject in this contest but the only necessity is that the contenders have to be between 13-19 years old. The deadline for the TISFEST contest is 14th December. Grand Prize is 1000 Euros, Second Prize is 750 and Third Prize is 500 Euros. There will also be masterclasses open to all participation between February 5th-9th, 2013. Famous faces from Turkey and abroad will attend these sessions and young filmmakers will have the chance to talk to, share ideas with and get assistance from them.
