The Media Rise Festival announces Youth Media Rise, a festival-within-a-festival for youth (ages 13 to 18), media educators and engaged parents. It includes interactive workshops to enhance the curiosity and creative expression of young people in meaningful ways. And panel sessions for educators focus on the power of media to amplify youth voices for social and environmental causes.
Hip-hop artist, educator and youth activist Asheru, born Gabriel Benn, will deliver the Keynote Address.
