Third Conference of Media Education and Digital Competence (III Congreso de Educación Mediática y Competencia Digital)

The Third Conference of Media Education and Digital Competence (III Congreso de Educación Mediática y Competencia Digital) builds on the work of international scholars and practitioners from the fields of education and communication who participated in two previous conferences held in Barcelona (2013) and Segovia (2011). In an ongoing effort to support a vibrant discourse about promising directions for media education, these participants have joined forces with people across the world to initiate a virtual, collaborative space open to anyone who is willing to propose actions and strategies for teaching and research in the field of Media and Information Literacy (MIL). In addition, the virtual space will provide a community forum for debate and reflection about a diverse range of relevant issues in media education.

Face-to-face phase: Segovia, Spain, 15-17 June, 2017 (Thursday-Saturday).
