On November 21st PLURAL+2018 Award-winning videos will be screened and discussed at the Paley Center for Media in New York.
This year PLURAL+ received 371 entries from 72 countries around the world. Of these, 28 have been selected for awards. Young media makers will be attending the event to screen and discuss their videos on the topics of migration, cultural diversity, social inclusion and prevention of xenophobia.
Some of the videos presented at the event will be: Be There (India), Future News (Spain), False Hope (Philippines), Beyond What You See (Indonesia), Born Lucky (USA), Is Being Raped The End Of The Victim’s Life (Bangladesh), Dear Refugee (USA), Voices of the Lake (Brazil), Translate Into Power (Portugal), When Words Fail, Music Speaks (Iraq), Color Makes the World Better (Mexico), Xenophobia (India), EnGULFed (Ghana), Enough to the War in Syria (Mexico) and Social Labels (Spain).
The event will also include a short presentation from the United For Peace Film Festival (Japan) and DIRECTV’s festival FACIUNI.
