DIGITAL EngAGEment : Media Literacy in the 21st Century

The Media Studies M.S. Program at Brooklyn College of the City University of New York is pleased to announce its first annual DIGITAL EngAGEment conference on May 5, 2017 at 25 Broadway in Manhattan’s Financial District.

DIGITAL EngAGEment encompasses the myriad ways humans encounter, utilize, create and participate with digital technologies, processes, experiences, cultures and environments in the contemporary moment.

The inaugural conference theme: 21st Century Media Literacy, is a call to express and refresh concepts of media literacy and media activism, and specifically what it means to comprehend the digital environment and to thoughtfully, and actively, participate in digital communications.
