2014 DGD: Digital Media and Children’s Rights

The 2014 Day of General Discussion is themed “Digital Media and Children’s Rights”. It provides an opportunity for the UN Committee on the Rights of the Child to discuss the theme with representatives from governments, other UN treaty bodies and agencies, NGOs, national human rights institutions and others with expert knowledge.

On the day there will be a plenary session and two working groups: Children’s equal and safe access to digital media and ICT and Children’s empowerment and engagement through digital media and ICT.
